Bridging the Gap to Clinical Practice: Building Deployable Brain Metastasis AI

Dr. Laurens Topff is a Radiologist and Medical Information Officer for AI at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. As a Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP), he combines expertise in diagnostic radiology and imaging informatics to guide the development and deployment of AI applications in healthcare. His work focuses on translating digital innovations into meaningful improvements in real-world clinical practice. He serves on the ESR eHealth & Informatics Subcommittee, the EuSoMII Scientific Committee, and the EIBIR Scientific Advisory Board. He is co-Scientific Coordinator of Compass AI, a flagship initiative of the EU's Apply AI Strategy that aims to advance the safe and effective adoption of AI across European healthcare.
