Alexandra Gersing

Alexandra Gersing, MD, PhD, is Director of Musculoskeletal Research and AI and Associate Professor in Residence of the Division of Musculoskeletal imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Gersing is the Clinical Director of Musculoskeletal and Quantitative Imaging Research (MQIR) of UCSF. She is former Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and AI Research at the University Hospital of Munich. Her research focuses on applying artificial intelligence to derive quantitative muscle and bone imaging biomarkers to improve patient care.
