Decoding Segmentation Uncertainty: Infiltrative Morphology in H3K27M-Mutant Diffuse Midline Glioma
Emma Duprat is a visiting research intern in the Rauschecker-Sugrue Lab at UCSF Radiology, working with Andreas Rauschecker and Pierre Nédelec. During her internship, her work focuses on a rare and aggressive pediatric brain tumor (Diffuse Midline Glioma) and on developing AI segmentation models that indicate how confident they are in their own predictions, with the goal of connecting that confidence to the tumor's underlying biology. She is completing her engineering degree in biology and computer science at École Polytechnique, in France.
