Dr. Aaron Kornblith is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco. He is the co-HEDA PI for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) and an affiliated faculty member of the UCSF Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute & Center for Intelligent Imaging.

Dr. Kornblith's research program is focused on improving the diagnostic evaluation of sick and injured children through advanced data analytics, novel hardware design, and clinical trial validation. Dr. Kornblith has received funding from the NIH, NSF, the Pediatric Device Consortium, and the University of California to advance his research mission, including improving the accuracy and reliability of clinical decision instruments using multimodal learning to diagnose bleeding in injured children rapidly. His academic mission is collaborating and supporting multidisciplinary teams to solve complex real-world clinical problems with predictable, stable, and fair technological solutions.
