Jae Ho Sohn, MD, MS, from UC San Francisco's Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and Center for Intelligent Imaging (ci2) has opened the Sohn Lab for research.
The lab is making significant strides in improving cardiothoracic imaging through modern data science and advanced computing techniques. The collaborative team of researchers studies imaging modalities, clinical topics in cardiothoracic imaging and avenues for improving communication between patients, clinicians and radiologists.
The Sohn Lab focuses on quantitative imaging, radiomics and machine learning; radiological natural language processing; and mid-field lung and cardiac MRI systems.
Since residency, Dr. Sohn has been a part of the UCSF family and has contributed to dozens of research publications.
